One of Mark's co-workers, who has been in Korea for several months already, showed us a nook of town we haven't seen yet. And in doing so, also showed us some food we'd never eaten before. Which previously, I would not have considered this "food."

Okay, I'll spill the beans.
It was kind of greasy. Tasted a lot like ham, but fattier. And chewier.
And all those weird side dishes?!
Spicy. By Korean standards, the spice level was low. But by American standards, the kimchi was about a level 3 of 5, and the sprout soup made my eyes water. And those teeny shrimp made me feel like I was eating straight out of a salt shaker.
I'm glad I had this culinary experience. And I'm glad it didn't look too much like feet. (Ha, there's the American in me...I don't want my food to look like what it actually is.) But I'm in no rush to go back and eat Wilbur's toes again soon.
